Best caramel iced coffee I've ever had! Visited here on a hot day and found the place nice and cool inside, especially in the sofa area. The owners were knowledgeable took pride in their coffee. Freshly ground responsibly sourced coffee which was slow dripped with cold froth milk and reusable ice cubes which didn't water down the taste. We also had a toasted ciabata sandwich with local beef, red Leicester with caramelised onion chutney, which was out of this world. I drank my first coffee so quick and just had to have another. This coffee shop is such a hidden gem, just off the top of the high street and had a better atmosphere than the chains which dominate the high street. What a find. What a lovely place to grab a delicious lunch and a hot drink. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome and at ease. We walked through the labyrinthine layout and found a cute table at the top. The food was amazing. The drinks selection was great. My wife had a local, 0% cider and I had a pot of loose leaf tea. We sat for ages, relaxed and read our books. Our first ever visit to Maggie's Place and our first ever Afternoon Tea in Ross-on-Wye and it was a 100% total yummy success. The people looking after us at Maggies are all lovely.... friendly, caring and did their upmost to ensure we had a lovely time. The food and drinks were perfect, from the gorgeous delicate sandwiches to the array of little desserts and chocolates...all with the added bonus of salad and fruit throughout which you don't usually get with Afternoon Tea. A well thought out and delicious offering, all served in lovely surroundings. Stopped off at Maggie’s place for a coffee and had the most pleasant experience. I was greeted well, and had a wonderful conversation with the owner about coffee types, pour over techniques and local products.
