Yes, afternoon tea must be booked at least 48 hours in advance so we can prepare everything fresh for your visit. This helps us make sure your table, miniature sandwich bites, scones, cakes and tea service are ready for you.
Yes, all afternoon tea bookings are subject to a minimum of two guests. The online booking price of £59.90 covers the minimum booking for two people.
Yes, the online booking payment of £59.90 secures your reservation for two guests. For bookings of three or more guests, a further payment link will be sent following confirmation of your booking. This additional balance must be paid at least 7 days prior to your booking. If further payment is not received, Maggie’s Place reserves the right to cancel the booking and the deposit will remain non-refundable.
For bookings of three or more guests, please complete the booking for two guests online and include your full guest number in the booking details. We will then send a separate payment link for the remaining balance, which must be paid at least 7 days before your afternoon tea.
The £59.90 online booking payment is non-refundable as it secures your reserved date, time and seating allocation, and allows us to prepare for your visit. Any additional payments made towards your booking are also non-refundable in the event of cancellation. If Maggie’s Place is unable to fulfil your booking, we will offer either an alternative date or a refund.

Our afternoon tea includes miniature gourmet sandwich bites, homemade scones, luxury chocolate and cake nibbles, served with delicate loose-leaf Assam tea. The exact selection may vary depending on availability and seasonal ingredients.
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. We will always do our best to help, but food is prepared in a working kitchen so we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Yes, Maggie’s Place is a lovely setting for birthdays, family gatherings, small celebrations and relaxed get-togethers. Bookings of three or more guests can be arranged, with the remaining balance paid through a separate payment link before your visit.
Maggie’s Place is located at 24 High Street, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 5BZ, in the heart of town.
You are welcome to arrive anytime from 12pm and your table is reserved until 4pm, giving you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience.
The closest public car park is Crossfield Car Park, Old Maids Walk, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 5HB. We recommend allowing a little extra time to park, especially during busy periods.
